Yesterday marked one year since President Biden signed the historic Inflation Reduction Act into law. This legislation was passed by Matt and his Democratic colleagues in Congress to lower health care costs and tackle the climate crisis.

The Inflation Reduction Act allows Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices and caps out-of-pocket costs for insulin at $35 per month. This has allowed more people to access the lifesaving medication they need.

This bill also made the largest investment in climate solutions ever. From boosting clean energy manufacturing in the United States and investing in a reliable electric grid to providing home energy efficiency rebates and more, the Inflation Reduction Act is helping to ensure our planet is protected for generations to come.

This legislation was a huge step in the right direction for our country – but Matt knows there's still much more work to be done. That's why he's fighting in Congress to continue bringing relief to families across PA-08.
