Friend, I wanted to make sure you saw Selina's kind note from Tuesday on behalf of our campaign.

She is an incredible example of the activism that young people across our state -- and our country -- are involved in to take our country in a better direction.

If our campaign is inspiring people like her, then we're doing something right.

Please join us by making a grassroots contribution of any amount: [link removed]

With gratitude,

Julie

Hey there,

My name is Selina Eshraghi, and I wanted to take a moment to tell you about my experience volunteering for this campaign. I’m a current student at UT Austin. I first met Julie when helping organize the 2018 March For Our Lives event, which united 16,000 of our fellow Texans in a massive march to demand that our elected officials take action and prevent more mass shootings. I spend a lot of my time advocating for a vision of America where human lives and justice matter more to our lawmakers than guns, and one of the ways I continue to stay active is by serving on the board of March For Our Lives Texas.

Julie has always been strong on gun violence prevention. She knows how much it matters to people in TX-25 because she shows up and listens. As a double major in Chemical Engineering and Radio-Television-Film, I never expected to be involved in a political campaign. I chose these majors because I know the future needs people who are able to connect the public to science. It’s hard to believe that some still don’t believe in the climate crisis -- there’s no way that would happen if the science and data surrounding global warming were more accessible.

Julie’s story -- of being a teenage Medicaid mom turned healthcare finance expert, fighting for the most vulnerable among us -- inspired me to extend my passion for increasing public awareness into the political realm.

Julie understands how critical policy battles -- from healthcare to gun safety to the environment -- have a tangible impact on our everyday lives. Her ability to communicate this is why her platform has inspired so many in our community. Now, with just 13 days left until the primary, we need to make sure that our enthusiasm for Julie delivers her a big victory. Can you chip in $15 to help us win on March 3?

This is the most important election of our lives -- truly.

For my generation -- the Mass Shooting Generation -- we’re faced with a new reality, a world where we can’t feel safe at school, at a movie theater, a concert, or just out at a Wal-Mart.

We’re standing up to demand legislative change, and electing gun-sensible candidates is critical to creating the country we want to see. This race demands our immediate attention.

So please, pitch in whatever you can to make sure Julie's message gets out in these critical days before the primary. The people of District 25 need to hear it.

I hope that you’ll join me.

Best,

Selina
