One year ago today, President Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act into law.

This expansive legislation was passed to make progress on the climate crisis, reduce healthcare costs, make the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share, and deliver lasting relief for working families.

And in one year, it’s done just that and more by jump-starting over 200 new clean energy projects, creating over 170,000 jobs, and saving millions of Medicare recipients hundreds of dollars annually on prescriptions.

This legislation has made a meaningful impact for families across the country, but now is not the time to become complacent. Nikki knows that more needs to be done for working families across Central and Southern Illinois, which is why she’s running for reelection.
