Reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 40%
Get 80% closer to reaching our 2030 climate goals

Friend — THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. This progress truly would not be happening without the hard work and dedication of everyone in the environmental movement.

Time after time, the pundits counted us out. They said we could never win — not while corporate polluters and fossil fuel executives continue to flood Washington with their army of lobbyists and endless campaign contributions. We pulled it off because we never gave up on fighting for climate action — and because we had supporters like you on our side.

The record heat that people across the country have been experiencing this summer is another stark reminder — we are in a climate emergency, and it is disproportionately impacting low-wealth communities and communities of color on the front lines of this crisis.

That’s why 40% of these federal clean energy investments will go to communities who need it most, creating jobs, reducing health disparities from pollution, and building climate resilience.

Still, every day, extreme MAGA Republicans in Congress are threatening this progress — at great cost to their constituents and their own districts — as they continue pushing the failed fossil energy policies of the past, including dirty drilling on public lands and other massive giveaways to Big Oil and other polluters.

Over the coming weeks and months, LCV will need advocates like you to help us keep pressure on Congress and the White House to deliver on urgent climate goals. You can take action right now by:

• Telling the EPA it’s time to limit power plant pollution; and
• Making a generous gift to power some of the most effective environmental campaigns in the country.
