Today marks 3 months since the launch of our campaign, and I’m still blown away by the generosity of people just like you. When I first considered running for Congress, I knew I’d have people standing with me from the start, but your response has been truly humbling.

In the first 6 weeks of our campaign, we raised over $360k, crushing our end-of-quarter fundraising goal! Now, we’re halfway through the next quarter, and we cannot afford to lose any momentum.

I decided to run for Congress knowing I could have a greater impact on my community by repairing systemic issues — not in the OR, but through public policy. As a community leader in Dallas, and as a policy advisor in Washington, D.C., I learned firsthand that real change is possible when we have leaders bold enough to take courageous action — and as a Veteran, trauma surgeon, and gun safety advocate, that’s exactly what I’ll do in Congress.
