Folks,
Did you know that Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour, and the release of the new Barbie movie are stabilizing the economy and preventing a recession?
A new report from Axios confirms that consumers are prioritizing experiences and entertainment over material goods.
With sold out stadiums and the largest grossing movie by a woman director in history, there’s no doubt about it: Women are currently carrying the economy on their backs.
As the first woman to ever represent MI-11, I’m proud.
From day one I have made it clear that my top priority is to uplift Michigan’s working families, and I’ve honored that commitment.
Throughout my three terms in Congress, I’ve sponsored several manufacturing bills to boost our state’s economy. And last year, I helped pass the Inflation Reduction Act — a landmark piece of legislation to make the cost of living more affordable.
Looking at the stats, I think it’s safe to assume that Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Barbie, and I have something in common: We’re working women getting our economy back on track.
To help me continue boosting our economy and fighting for Michigan’s workers and families, will you chip in $25 or more today? With some girl power, anything is possible.
