I won’t forget the obstruction and hurdles Republicans threw our way when we passed this bill, and you shouldn’t either.

john — One year ago today, President Biden signed the historic Inflation Reduction Act into law.

This landmark achievement delivers on so many progressive promises:

💊 Lower prescription drug prices and capping out-of-pocket expenses
🌎 40% reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by 2030
💼 A minimum corporate tax rate of 15%
👷 The largest investment in clean energy jobs in history
💰 Measures that will cut inflation and tackle rising costs

And one year later? We’ve seen real, tangible progress made:

☀️ The largest solar project in Minnesota broke ground in Becker, paving the way for thousands of homes powered by solar energy
📈 More manufacturing and green energy jobs in Minnesota
💲 Money back in the pockets of hard-working families through rebates on high-efficiency homeware and electric vehicles

john, I’m incredibly proud of the Inflation Reduction Act — it represents everything good legislation should do: delivering relief and results for hard-working families, while making a tangible difference for the future of our country.

But we can’t forget — not a single Republican member of Congress voted for this legislation. Not one!

And while many of my GOP colleagues are touting the positive impacts for their states, they’re glossing over the fact that they opposed this legislation. I won’t forget the obstruction and hurdles Republicans threw our way when we passed this bill, and you shouldn’t either.

It’s abundantly clear: if we want to keep making progress for a cleaner, growing economy, we need to protect our Democratic Senate majority. Please, chip in $5 or whatever you can spare today.

Thanks for your support! The Inflation Reduction Act was, and remains, a BFD — and I’m proud of our work to get it across the finish line one year ago today.
