One year ago today, we celebrated as President Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) into law.

But, did you know I was the only Member of Congress from Alabama to vote in favor of the IRA? It is the largest investment to help working American families in years and SIX of your Congressional Reps. and two Alabama Sens. voted against it.

But as my father always said, "It is okay to stand alone if you are standing up for what you believe."

• Extending critical health care subsidies to drive down costs for families

I’m so proud of all my Democratic colleagues and I did to deliver legislation that puts people over politics.
