Last year, Democrats made history with the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). This landmark law was a huge win for the fight against climate change, and for reducing health care and energy costs for working families.
Thanks to the hard work of leaders like incumbent Rep. Katie Porter, who has endorsed my campaign, the IRA has been a game-changer for Americans everywhere.
I’m ready to get to Congress and build on this historic achievement, but the GOP is determined to flip this seat red and expand their House majority to halt progress in its tracks.

By investing in climate action and clean energy, allowing Medicare to negotiate prescription drug prices, capping insulin costs under Medicare, and making big corporations pay their fair share, the Inflation Reduction Act has provided much-needed relief for families and will strengthen our economy for years to come.
