John, one year ago today, the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) was signed into law.

I voted to pass this landmark legislation to provide much-needed relief to working families and seniors by lowering the cost of health coverage and prescription drugs, tackling our climate crisis and reducing inflation.

I fiercely advocated to include my Health Care Affordability Act as part of the IRA because health care is a human right, and nobody should have to ration or skip prescription medications due to excessive costs. That hard work paid off.

My bill made health care more affordable for 13 million Americans and lowered out-of-pocket premium costs for families by an average of $2,400 each year!

Delivering lasting results for IL-14 and folks across the country is what I came to Congress to do. It’s what I’ll continue doing as long as I have your support to keep me there.

Can I rely on you to add a contribution of $4 (for my fourth term) or whatever is meaningful to you right now?

My reelection is powered by individual grassroots contributions standing up to dark money interests and massive Republican fundraising hauls.

Your support has always made the difference. I hope I can count on you, John.

Warmly,

Lauren
