MEDIA ADVISORY: Gov. Justice to hold bill signing ceremonies for Pierpont aviation program funding and Veterans funding tomorrow

PIERPONT AVIATION MAINTENANCE PROGRAM FUNDING
WHAT: Gov. Justice will sign into law Senate Bill 1029 which provides a $25 million supplemental appropriation to Pierpont Community & Technical College to build a new aviation maintenance training facility at the North Central West Virginia Airport, where Pierpont’s Aviation Maintenance Technology program will soon call home.
The bill was passed as part of the recent Special Session of the West Virginia Legislature, called by Gov. Justice on Aug. 6.

VETERAN NURSING FACILITY FUNDING
WHAT: Gov. Justice will sign into law Senate Bill 1037, which provides a $1 million supplemental appropriation to the West Virginia Veterans Nursing Facility in Clarksburg.
The bills were passed as part of the recent Special Session of the West Virginia Legislature, called by Gov. Justice on Aug. 6.
