When Jeff launched Burdick for Congress nearly 9 months ago, he became the first Democrat to ever primary our corporate-backed incumbent Ami Bera. Many thought Jeff had no chance. A current member of the State Assembly even yelled at him that he was an “idiot.” But Jeff knew things they didn’t. He knew the district demographics showed the party-straddling Bera has been long out of touch with our now solidly Democratic district. Jeff saw the voter hunger for a principled candidate who refuses all corporate donations and pledges to represent only the voters of the 7th Congressional District.
