We're thrilled to share a remarkable milestone in Indiana's journey as part of Governor Holcomb’s Next Level Agenda.
Earlier this month at the Toyota Princeton Plant, Gov. Holcomb proudly announced the introduction of the new Grand Highlander to the production line, but even bigger news followed.
Toyota announced an investment of $11.1 million to enhance STEM programs in local schools and organizations over the next five years. The money will provide access to pre-education, mental health resources, and hands-on STEM learning for both teachers and students.
This comes after a historic legislative session for education, including expanding access to STEM programs in schools across the state focused on robotics and computer science.
“Today is another Toyota Terrific day for the state as they roll out their first Grand Highlanders down the production line. And not only that—we also celebrate Toyota’s continued contribution to early learning programs, which will further help strengthen investments we’re making across the state and set the stage for some of our youngest Hoosiers to pursue a future in STEM.” — Gov. Eric Holcomb
The path to progress is paved with such collaborative efforts, and we're excited to witness the positive impact this venture will have on our communities.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to work together to build an even stronger Indiana.
