Hi friend,
Exactly one year ago, the federal government passed the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) — a $500 billion funding package that includes the biggest climate investment in U.S. history.
And since the IRA was passed, we have witnessed massive wins, including unprecedented investments in renewable energy and the expansion of green infrastructure projects.
Friend, in our latest blog, we’ve broken down where the IRA gets its funding, where that funding is going, and what progress has been made so far. Check it out >>

The Inflation Reduction Act has put us directly on a path to tackle the climate crisis in a sustainable way. From transportation to agriculture, we continue to see the results in every corner and sector in our state.
These are the impacts of the bold solutions California and EnviroVoters have been pushing for, but we must be diligent. After decades of inaction, the fight isn't over.
Republicans have tried to take this funding away at every turn. Protecting these investments must be a priority.
Staying educated allows us to fight against these attacks and keep up our progress.
Take a moment to learn how the IRA has already made big changes in California and across the country >>
With Congress and President Biden working towards climate action, together we can continue to build a healthier, cleaner future.
Thanks for reading!
