The Arizona AFL-CIO's Labor Day Luncheon is the place where union leaders, activists, elected officials, and candidates come together. This year we are spreading the message that, it's better in a union!
This year we are bringing back this event to the Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak. We will be featuring Pima County Recorder Gabriella C?zares-Kelly and Governor Katie Hobbs. This year four outstanding individuals are honored for their contributions to unions, working families, and the community:
"Labor Leader of the Year"
"Elected Official of the Year"
"Volunteer of the Year"
"Outstanding Years of Service"
Labor Day also marks the traditional kick-off of the political campaign season and the Luncheon is the place where it happens and news is made.
