The Department of Homeland Security is currently at war with the American people.

To put it bluntly, under no circumstances should Congress continue to fund this federal agency until they do their job and secure the border.

I wrote a letter to my fellow members of Congress that was co-signed by 14 of my colleagues from right here in Texas, describing the gravity of the situation here at home.

Since Mayorkas won’t do his job, the state of Texas has been forced to designate almost $10 billion of their own money to try and stop the bleeding.

Texas is doing the job that Mayorkas refuses to do.

And how does the Biden administration respond? By filing a lawsuit against Texas!

Our letter lays out several initiatives that we must enact immediately to remedy this crisis:
* Refuse any appropriations funding for DHS
* Urge the Senate to pass H.R. 2, one of the strongest border security bills in decades
* Impeach Secretary Mayorkas
* Reimburse $10 billion to the state of Texas for border security operations

The time is NOW to stand up for sovereignty and security.

Restore law and order, push back the cartels and human traffickers, and end this crisis.
