TREE AND VEGETATION PRUNING NEAR TRANSMISSION LINES

An important part of delivering safe and reliable electric service is maintaining transmission rights-of-way, the property below and next to Oncor's high-voltage transmission lines. Routine vegetation management helps avoid high maintenance and repair costs and prevents hazardous electrical clearance violations by allowing access to the lines for routine maintenance.?

Oncor will conduct tree trimming on transmission lines that run along the east and south side of the city. (Map provided by Oncor). Trimming should start on August 21st and take about 2 weeks. Communication will be made with customers along the route and notified about entry onto the premises ? if required.
