My name is Carly Choppin, and I am a new addition to Team Spanberger’s Fundraising Team. Here at Spanberger HQ, we are always crunching numbers, trying to do everything we can to fund Abigail’s efforts to deliver for Virginia. I am one of many who write to you to ask for help reaching our critical fundraising goals. (Speaking of which, can you donate $5 today?)

However, our number crunching is as much about money coming into our campaign as it is about how much money we spend.

What should our September goal be if we exceed our August goal? What if we don’t exceed our goal? How much can we spend to defend against attack ads this month?

Halfway through the month is a significant turning point, an opportunity to check in and make sure our efforts are going to plan. We like to ensure Abigail always has the resources she needs to continue delivering for Virginians.

Today, we are on track to hit our August goal. However, we have had a solid beginning of August; to meet our goal, we must have just as strong of a second half of August. So will you please contribute today to fund Abigail’s work and keep us on track for August?
