Kevin McCarthy and his other MAGA colleagues released their statements on Trump’s indictment for his 2020 election interference efforts in Georgia. To no surprise, MAGA clowns are doubling-down in their schoolyard bravado by claiming this is a political prosecution against Trump.

I’ve known guys like Kevin McCarthy my whole life. And I’m sure you have, too. They’re the first people to puff out their chests and talk a big game, but when it comes time to walk the talk, they’ve got… well, nothing.

But as the highest ranking member of the House, resorting to violent threats isn’t just a bad look. It’s a direct reflection of our democracy on the national stage — and we as a nation are far beyond reactionary tactics designed to scare us into complacency.

Right now, we’re gearing up for our big mid-quarter fundraising deadline, and I’m not going to stop speaking out against Kevin McCarthy until he leaves office as the shortest tenured Speaker in House history.
