I’ll come right out and say it: We fell a bit short of our $20,000 Fight Back Fund goal last night.

Look, I get it. Folks are still out on vacation, kids are heading back to school, and the last thing on many peoples’ minds is a gubernatorial election.

But the stakes in this race are sky-high, and time is of the essence, John.

In fact, we’re just a few weeks away from the first ballots of the race being cast. That’s why we need to close the gap and start investing in voter outreach and field programs now. We need to spread our message before folks head to the polls!
