Do you think climate change is real?

To be honest, I was floored. What’s the next question? Do I believe in gravity?

But unfortunately, it’s not outlandish to ask this question. In fact, elected officials who should be leading us to a brighter, greener future are in denial.

Here in MN-08, we need a representative who believes in science—who will treat climate change like the crisis it is—because our community will be uniquely impacted.

Here’s what science tells us about climate change in Minnesota:

Severe droughts will hurt our farmers’ crop yields. Floods will ravage our homes, and in the coming years, warming temperatures will shorten our winter season and interfere with some of our favorite winter activities.

Stepping up to address the climate crisis isn’t just reactive. It's proactive. By pouring our focus into a green future with wind and solar power, we’ll create thousands of new jobs and provide more Minnesotans with the employment needed to support their families.

It’s time to take bold, aggressive steps to fight this crisis before it’s too late. I’m committed to doing just that, but I need your help to bring my fight to Washington.
