With nearly 9,000 fellows [[link removed]] and alumni [[link removed]] , the NLC Institute [[link removed]] is the leading leadership development program for a rising generation of progressive leaders across the country. NLC chapters [[link removed]] select up to 20 leaders to attend the NLC Institute held annually from January through June in their local city or state.

NLC community members are running for elected office, managing campaigns, working in government, running nonprofits, and starting small businesses; and it all began with the NLC Institute. We've made an impact in communities across the country during a time when progressive leaders are needed more than ever, but there is more work to do.
