I wanted to personally reach out and give you a quick update about where things stand ahead of the end of the month. My team just ran the numbers, and it looks like we've fallen behind on our fundraising for February.

This isn't good. In February alone, Mitch McConnell spent six figures propping up my extreme Republican opponent. If we're going to fight back, we can't afford to fall any further behind.

To get back on track, we need to raise $75,000 by next Saturday at midnight. Will you pitch in $5, or whatever you can, to help us close the gap?

These fundraising goals aren't arbitrary. They're based on the budget we need to run -- and win -- a Senate campaign in Iowa. As a farm kid, I'm used to being scrappy. But we can't afford to be scrappy with our budget -- not when Republican special interest money has already begun flooding Iowa. We know spending is only going to ramp up, so if we fall behind now, we risk not being able to catch up.

I'm not accepting a dime of corporate PAC money, so I'm counting on grassroots supporters like you to step up right now and help me hit this important goal.
