We’ve had a really eventful month so far.
It began with a big win in Mississippi, where our grantees helped restore voting rights for people who had been disenfranchised for decades due to unjust voter suppression laws. And just recently, we celebrated a huge victory in Ohio, where voters turned out and struck down an anti-democratic power grab with the explicit attempt of banning abortion in the state.
This is exactly why I founded Groundwork Project — because when we band together and invest in these so-called “red states,” we get to celebrate major victories for our voting rights, reproductive freedom, and more.
At midnight tonight, my team’s mid-quarter deadline expires. Meeting fundraising goals like this one is important because it allows us to continue sustaining and expanding our grantee program, which is helping deliver more progressive victories each and every day.
So if you can, please pitch in today to help fuel our work. Here’s my personal link for you to use: [link removed] [[link removed]]
Thank you for everything,
Joe
