Hi John,

This week, I emailed you personally about our weekly fundraising goal. Yesterday, we were $1,025 short of our target.

Admittedly, this is not the note I wanted to write you this morning, but we fell short by a couple hundred dollars.

Missing our benchmarks, especially with our first FEC filing coming up next month, will impact the early field and communication efforts we can run.

If we’re going to win this race and elect a leader who will fight for truth, progress, and accountability in D.C., then I need your help.

Because, without your contributions to power our campaign, we’ll need to scale back on our strategy when we should be focused on growing our reach.

I’m counting on you now to help us get back on track. If we can raise $480 TODAY, we’ll be in a good spot to finish out this month strong.

Can you please rush me an emergency contribution? Here’s the link: [link removed]

Thank you -- and again, I really wish I didn’t have to send this message, but the stakes are too high.

-Phil
