Hi there – These days, looking at pictures of younger me makes me a little sad.

This little girl had no idea that as she got older, Republican extremists would ensure that she had fewer and fewer rights. Of course, that is what happened.

That’s why my midterm win was so critical – to our Senate majority and to women’s futures.

We had to fight really hard for that victory. Pundits called our race a toss-up, and I was getting calls from other Senators concerned that we couldn’t win. To top it off, the GOP was flooding the airwaves – all just months after Roe was overturned.

Given the environment, my campaign made the choice to up our ad buys beyond what we had planned hoping that the money would come through later.

The bad news is, my campaign is STILL paying those bills down. And now, state after state is rolling back access to reproductive rights. That makes emails like this one – and deadlines like tomorrow's – extremely important.

With reproductive rights getting absolutely gutted, we MUST hold the line on swing states like New Hampshire. We can’t do that until we pay down our 2022 bills. I’m asking you urgently: Please rush $5 or as much as you can to help hit our goal before Wednesday. Every dollar counts, and time is ticking.
