In just a moment I’m going to ask you to send an urgent message to your members of Congress that they must pass a pathway to citizenship for immigrant youth today, on the 11th anniversary of DACA’s implementation. But first, I hope you’ll let me explain why I am asking for your help.

Any day now, we expect a ruling in Texas’ lawsuit attacking DACA, Texas v. U.S. Without the permanency and stability of a pathway to citizenship, the anticipation of yet another potentially adverse court ruling is leaving hundreds of thousands of immigrant youth to live in fear and uncertainty. That’s why Congress must act.

Renewals are continuing for now for those who currently have DACA or whose DACA lapsed less than one year ago, but first-time DACA applications are still not being processed. Immigrant youth should be able to plan for their futures. That’s why Congress must act.

Year after year, in poll after poll, a majority of Americans across party lines believe Congress should pass permanent protections for immigrant youth. That’s why Congress must act.

Please take a moment — less than 10 seconds — to send a message to Congress to listen to the will of the people they were elected to serve and act now. We’ve taken the time to write a letter for you to send, all you need to do is add your name! 

We cannot sit idly by awaiting another potentially negative court ruling. And we won’t. We’ll put up the fight of our lives — just like we have in the 11 years since DACA’s implementation and long before.

And that’s because our home is here, and we are here to stay.
