JOHN, Air Force veteran David Grusch provided outstanding testimony during our recent hearing on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs). First, God bless him for serving our country and keeping us free. He is one of our nation’s heroes and should be treated as such every single day of his life. It isn’t easy to come forward with the information he provided. As I said weeks ago, our men and women in the military are often mocked and shamed into silence on this topic. David's admission of our possession of nonhuman biologics took courage in the face of bureaucratic bullies. Men like David, who dare to challenge the status quo, risked it all to push for change on UAP matters, and we should celebrate their bravery. Instead, The Intercept chose a different path, opting to publish a piece that delves into his mental health struggles, including his stay at a mental health facility after making suicidal statements. Let me be crystal clear: WE MUST DO BETTER. |
