John,
Congress authorizes the operation and funding of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) every five years, this includes important safety regulations and authorizes the FAA’s official funding. This year, lawmakers have until September 30, 2023, to either pass an FAA Reauthorization bill or they will be forced to pass a short-term reauthorization.
The 2023 FAA Reauthorization will provide the funding necessary to maintain safe and reliable terminals, taxiways, and tarmacs across the United States! Put another way – more planes on time, more modern facilities at airports, less headaches shipping cargo, taking family vacations, or business travel. ✈️
This legislation is vital to the equipment manufacturing industry and the millions of men and women who build the equipment that builds, powers, and feeds our world!
Keep an eye on your inbox, as we will have opportunities during the coming weeks for you to take action and tell your legislators to support our Nation’s airport infrastructure. 🌟
