Americans for Prosperity Action – the Koch family’s most prominent super PAC – just announced that they’re going to spend money to prop up Henry Cuellar in the final 10 days before our primary.

Americans for Prosperity is the group that the Koch brothers used to help build the Tea Party.

This Super PAC has spent $0 supporting Democrats in the past a decade, but they’re breaking that precedent to back Henry Cuellar.

We’re launching a 48-hour emergency fundraising drive to match AFP Action’s initial $34,000 in spending. We want to make it clear that our grassroots movement has what it takes to fight back against the Koch family’s last-minute spending.

Will you make a $3 donation to help us match their $34,000 in spending dollar for dollar in the next 48 hours? I would not ask if this was not critically important.

Let’s be clear: They’re coming in, along with three other Republican-affiliated groups, to save Henry Cuellar because they know he’s not a real Democrat.
