Dear John,
Last night, Donald Trump was indicted for a fourth time. This time in Georgia on 41 counts ranging from forgery of false documents, perjury, and computer tampering to election fraud, influencing witnesses, and racketeering, which carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 5 years and up to 20 in Georgia.
With so many indictments in so many jurisdictions, and so many felony charges, it may be hard to keep them all straight!
Trump is counting on some level of confusion and indictment fatigue to delegitimize the charges. He is fighting in the court of public opinion by ginning up a list of complaints to prove his victimhood amongst those who want to hear it. But Trump is being prosecuted now because, as four grand juries have found, the strength of the evidence against him merits it.
You will undoubtedly hear his supporters repeating his unrelenting complaints, but in fact, none of these complaints stands up to scrutiny. Check out our new video to see my take on each of these spurious grievances. Come to your own conclusions, and share them with the people in your life who need to hear them!
You may hear that Trump was only guilty of exercising “free speech” or that the DOJ is being weaponized by his likely 2024 opponent.
You may hear that Trump is the victim of a “two-tiered justice system” or that he actually believed what he was saying.
You might hear that the sheer number of charges he faces is proof he is being unfairly targeted.
It’s important for us to be able to counter these false premises with the facts. Check out the video to have the facts at your fingertips and then share it on your social networks to get the truth out as far and wide as possible.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to the truth.
