Last night, a Fulton County grand jury indicted Donald Trump for his efforts to overturn the 2020 election results. It’s the result of a long-running investigation by District Attorney Fani Willis on his attempts to cheat our democratic process right here in Georgia.

John, these indictments bring us one step closer to justice being served. I’ll never forget the fear I felt for our country as President Trump openly tried to undermine our democracy on January 6th and beyond. I’m immensely grateful to DA Fani Willis for her tireless work – now it’s time to show our support and make sure she has the resources to win re-election.

Trump and his far-right allies have already started attacking Fani Willis from all sides. He put out a false and insulting ad yesterday to rile up his base of supporters, and that’s just the start. It’s critical we make sure that Fani Willis knows we have her back – will you split a donation between her re-election campaign and mine right now? [[link removed]]

To be very clear, the stakes couldn’t be higher right now. If we want to ensure the events of January 6th never happen again, we must send a message loud and clear that undermining our democracy will not be tolerated.

We’ve seen Trump’s playbook again and again, John. When he knows he has no good defense for his actions, he’ll immediately turn to personal attacks and flat-out lies about his opponents to try to save face. Unfortunately, this tactic often ends up working in his favor.

Our grassroots movement needs to stand up loud and clear in support of Fani Willis as she faces increasingly hostile attacks from Donald Trump and his far-right allies.
