John,
Today marks two years since the fall of Kabul - a solemn day where
76,000 vulnerable Afghans, including our Afghan allies who worked
alongside our U.S. troops, were evacuated to safety in the U.S.
Many are resettled and contributing to our communities. However, because
most of these evacuees were granted humanitarian parole and/or Temporary
Protected Status, they lack a viable path to permanent legal status.
Last month, Congress reintroduced the Afghan Adjustment Act, a bill that
would provide a permanent pathway to citizenship for our Afghan allies
and expand the efforts to protect those left behind.
**You recently took action and contacted your members of Congress in
support of this piece of legislation - thank you!**
**Now, will you consider making a generous donation today and help us
continue the critical work of advocating on behalf of our Afghan allies
and their families?**

Our team continues to push for protections that include a pathway to
permanent residency, supporting our Afghan allies fleeing aggression.
We're meeting with members of Congress and their staff, building
coalitions with like-minded partners and allies, drafting policy
resources, running digital ads and mobilizing our constituencies.
**We can't do this critical work without your support.**
**Please consider making a gift today and support our efforts. Make a
generous gift now!**

Our Afghan allies have waited long enough, facing continuing uncertainty
about their long-term status in the United States. They deserve much
needed stability for themselves and their families.
Thank you for your generous support,
Jennie Murray
