 Diana DeGette for Congress

Johh — last month, I voted against the shameful National Defense Authorization Act that was then passed by Kevin McCarthy and House Republicans.

Traditionally, the NDAA is a bipartisan effort. But this year, House Republicans caved to extremists’ demands and loaded this bill with poison pills that attack abortion, equity and diversity training, and other initiatives that have been bipartisan in the past.

Now, this bill has been passed by the Senate without these disgusting provisions — and Republicans are trying to bring them back before it heads to the President's desk.

Our service members fight for our freedoms every day. One of my core beliefs has always been that as lawmakers, we should be working every day to protect the rights of our constituents — not take them away. I am proud to do everything I can to stop these dangerous provisions, but I need your support.
