It has been nearly 3 years since the 2020 election, but extremists are still trying to overturn the results of the election. Just recently, a federal judge dismissed a lawsuit in which extremists were trying to de-certify the 2020 election results and call for a new election to be conducted. Election denialism is alive and well in Michigan, and it is frightening. 

It’s important that we are aware of what extremists are attempting to do in Michigan, but I also want to focus on the positives. Michigan voters have more choices when it comes to voting than they have ever had before. Michigan voters chose to adopt new voting rights, like early voting and a permanent absentee voter list, that will make voting more convenient for eligible voters. 

At Team Dingell HQ, we’re already building our voter education program for 2024 so we can reach Democrats and give them the information they need to know in order to cast their ballot and make their voices heard. There’s a lot of new information and we know we’ll have to set the record straight while extremists spread misinformation and try to deceive voters.
