I know Olivia reached out yesterday to fill you in on our August fundraising, but I wanted to take a moment to reach out as well.
My team is looking to raise $3,000 by tonight so that we can keep up momentum, begin to make critical off-year investments, and ensure that we’ll be in the strongest position possible heading into 2024. We still need to raise $1,875 before the day ends. Can you chip in to help us close the gap?
John, we are in a crucial moment as a country, a country that I love deeply and think is worth fighting for. With Kevin McCarthy and the Chaos Caucus in charge, radical Republicans feel emboldened to ship our jobs and manufacturing overseas, raise taxes on working folks while giving big corporations tax breaks, pass a nationwide abortion ban and punish women who seek out health care, and so much more.
You sent me to Washington to fight back against their anti-democracy and anti-worker agenda, but I can only keep up that fight with your support.
Falling short on our monthly fundraising risks handing western PA over to a McCarthy crony, and I won’t stand for that.
This is a grassroots-funded campaign, so I’m counting on you to help us keep up momentum. We still need to raise $1,875 before midnight. Can you chip in $15 or another amount to help us hit our goal before time runs out?
