Evonnia teamed up with Glenn Northern from the National Council for Jewish Women for their aptly titled workshop, Democracy Begins with Bodily Autonomy: Reproductive Rights and Justice Post-Dobbs, at the 22nd Century Conference in Minneapolis, MN. They discussed how authoritarianism has and continues to center controlling reproduction as a means to further their goals. Our fight for reproductive freedom and bodily autonomy must be at the center of the struggle for justice and liberation!

We signed on in support of several letters including one opposing attacks on medication abortion in the House Appropriations bill, one with the Center for Countering Digital Hate on X – previously known as Twitter – and its efforts to silence criticism, and one with The National Immigration Law Center calling out “judge shopping” happening in Texas federal district courts.
