Summer Strike Wave >> [[link removed]]

John,

Want to know why I showed up in solidarity with Starbucks workers last week, even though I work at McDonald's? Because I know the feeling of being on my feet the whole day, dealing with unpredictable shift scheduling, and the low pay that comes with it. We all share the same struggles.

But that means we share our victories too. Victories in one sector -- like UPS workers winning a raise for part-time workers to at least $21 an hour and more than double that for full-time workers -- helps to inspire wins everywhere. That means that this summer strike wave isn't going anywhere -- not until we win dignity, respect, and unions for ALL. Pledge to support striking workers -- this summer and every season >> [[link removed]]

Whether we work in restaurants, hotels, airports, writers' rooms, or warehouses, our demands are the same: respect for us and our labor. That means fair wages, safe workplaces, and a voice on the job.

You, me, and the millions of people around the country who are fed up with corporate greed are part of the movement that's going to win unions for all. Tell corporations and their CEOs: we're not backing down. [[link removed]]

In solidarity,
