Letter from an Editor
It was an exciting week here at Ms. On the site, the National Partnership for Women & Families took a look at who was left out of the Trump administration's budget proposal (see: women) and the feminists who are fighting back against his proposed cuts. Plus, Ms. columnist Janell Hobson spoke to Veronica Chambers, a prolific writer, author, journalist and editor, about her new book Queen Bey: A Celebration of the Power and Creativity of Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, and then reflected on how she and other Black feminist literary scholars teach Toni Morrison's genius in their classrooms.
We encourage you to take some time this weekend to disconnect and catch up on your feminist must-reads...and we've put together a great reading list to get you started below!
