VICTORY IN NEW YORK!
WESTCHESTER COUNTY CAVES IN AND REPEALS ITS UNCONSTITUTIONAL AND DISCRIMINATORY LAW
John,
Last year, Westchester County, New York, passed an unlawful and unconstitutional bubble zone ordinance targeting the First Amendment rights of peaceful, prayerful 40 Days for Life volunteers.
That law was built and passed on LIES about pro-lifers and fake, defunct case law. That is what New York has to do to protect its culture of death and its interest in the abortion machine.
The bigoted and blatantly unconstitutional law prohibits pro-life speech--and only pro-life speech--within up to 100 feet of abortion facilities and specifically adds an eight-foot bubble zone that "floats" around any person near an abortion facility.
40 Days for Life sued and WON!
In the face of our lawsuit to defend our vigil participants--not just in New York, but across the country--Westchester County has REPEALED the bubble zone portion of the ordinance to try to save its unconstitutional law.
But we will not give up. We are continuing our fight to have the rest of the discriminatory and unlawful ordinance struck down.
This is EXACTLY why it's so important to stand up to woke, anti-speech radicals. Help us keep free speech legal in America with your most generous gift to the 40 Days for Life Institute of Law & Justice:
