US Aid to Ukraine Amounts to $900 Per American Household
- Congressionally approved aid for Ukraine has cost each U.S. household hundreds of dollars. The formal aid packages alone amount to a staggering $113 billion – roughly $900 per American household.
- After returning from their August recess, some members of Congress want to provide more funding for Ukraine in a bill providing hurricane relief for Americans.
- As the war in Ukraine becomes a prolonged conflict, Americans are rightly growing skeptical of sending more money and weapons from our depleted armory with no accountability.

Garland’s Special Counsel Charade Violates the Law and Undermines the Hunter Biden Probe
- On Friday, Attorney General Merrick Garland announced that he was appointing Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss as “special counsel” in the Hunter Biden case.
- Weiss is the same attorney who created Hunter’s sweetheart plea deal which was ultimately rejected by the judge for its leniency.
- This appointment is an effort to obstruct oversight and accountability, possibly pushing accountability for the case beyond the 2024 election.
- Worse, the written rules governing special counsels call for the attorney general to appoint “an outside Special Counsel.” In other words, someone who doesn’t have the inherent conflict of interest that any employee of the Justice Department has.
- By violating the stated requirements for a special counsel in appointing Weiss, Garland guaranteed that the “investigation” of Hunter Biden will be one in name only. The facts—all of them—never will come to light.

Biden Declares War on Your Appliances, and Your Wallet Is in the Crosshairs
- Biden’s bureaucrats are coming for our appliances and cars, making us poorer with no benefit for the environment.
- This year the Department of Energy, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Transportation have announced proposed rules that would force you to give up your current appliances and cars.
- Congress, the branch of government most directly answerable to the people, would not pass such restrictive laws, so Biden is accomplishing his goal through regulation.
- These regulations will be challenged in court, and may be found unconstitutional, as was EPA’s attempt to regulate regional emissions through a new interpretation of the Clean Air Act.
