John – no one thought I could win in 2018.

I was up against an 11-term Republican who had been in Congress since I was a teenager. Polls showed me down by double digits. 

That didn't stop me. I worked day and night to connect with Texans and earn their votes. I won that race with 52% of the vote. 

Look, I know I'm the underdog again this year. People have even told me that I can't win this race and should just stay in my safe seat in Congress.  

But we're already better off than we were in 2018: Polls show me just 5 points down with 14% of voters undecided.

And Ted Cruz only won reelection by 2.6% last time. 

So winning will come down to reaching those undecided voters, and that's what I'm doing right now. I'm road tripping across Texas, and I've already met thousands of voters who are as fed up as you and I are with Ted Cruz.

So with folks like you on my team, John, I know we can win. 

If we can just keep connecting with voters, I know we can win this thing. But I'm counting on your support ahead of my $250,000 mid-month deadline tomorrow to help me keep it up: Please, will you chip in $5, $10, whatever you can spare, to help me fire Ted Cruz and give Texans the senator we deserve? →
