In the last few weeks, Mondaire’s opponent Mike Lawler has done some reprehensible things and gotten caught in more than one lie—like when he voted to cut benefits our veterans rely on and . . . said he didn’t do that (?????).

Now, his campaign is even calling the fight to ensure women have the basic right to an abortion a “distraction.”

A distraction, seriously? Lives are, quite literally, on the line. Since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade , we’ve seen state legislature after state legislature introduce legislation to outlaw abortion.

That’s why we need to send Mondaire back to Congress so he can pass the Women’s Health Protection Act and codify the right to an abortion into federal law.
