I’ve got an important ask for you, but first, let me explain why I’m emailing you.
When I was first elected in 2010, I won my race by less than 2 points. Colorado was a true battleground state.
Thanks to your hard work, we’ve made huge gains across our state over the past couple of election cycles. Today, we have two Democratic senators, five Democratic Congresspeople, a Democratic governor and a majority in the Colorado General Assembly.
This wouldn’t have been possible without the community of organizers, advocates, and volunteers who stepped up – and we can’t take this progress for granted.
There’s still so much work to do. Republicans have a lock on local offices across the state, including school boards and town councils.
By electing and re-electing Democrats statewide, we’ll continue making strides to protect our public lands; secure reproductive rights; and build an economy that works for everyone, not just a few at the top. We can protect our democracy and leave it stronger for the next generation.
