At tonight's debate, we discussed our vision for the future. I talked about my time growing up in Montana, my experience with public lands and health care that has prepared me to fight for our families in the Senate, the issues that are central to this campaign and why I'm in this race.

I'm running for U.S. Senate because Montana deserves an independent senator fighting for Montana families. Right now we have a U.S. Senator who is more beholden to corporate interests than Montana families. But I was raised with the Montana values we all share: hard work, caring for one another, and to be stewards for the natural world around us. And I'll fight for our families and our values when I'm representing you in the Senate.
