“Why Virginia Is the State to Watch in the 2023 Elections”
“All eyes are on Hampton Roads… as Republicans try to claw back Democratic gains in the state.”
Folks,
I wanted to make sure you saw the latest headline about the Virginia elections from U.S. News and World Report . As they reported, the entire country is looking to Virginia to pave the way for the 2024 elections.
I’m troubled, folks. Experts are saying Hampton Roads is one of the most competitive regions in Virginia. Joe Biden won the region in 2020, but then it turned red and elected a Republican governor just 12 months later.
Stories like this are why all eyes are on Virginia this fall. We have a responsibility to do everything we can to fight back and stop a complete GOP takeover. I’m reaching out today to personally ask you to pitch in to our mid-month fundraising goal and help us turn Virginia blue. [link removed]

Our fights ahead aren’t just about Hampton Roads. It’s about the entire Commonwealth—and the entire country. U.S. News and World Report called Virginia “the marquee political state of 2023” because people around the country are paying closer attention to these races than ever before.
Republicans see places like Virginia Beach and Chesterfield as opportunities. If they win both, they’re that much closer to turning Virginia completely red. The GOP is ready to go all-in and do whatever it takes to win this fall and we need to be prepared to stop them.
We’ve got to come together to reach every eligible voter in Virginia before election day to elect Democrats up and down the ballot. Will you donate today to help us? [link removed]
