Will you help 10 suffering dogs today?

Dear Friend,

When summer heat becomes too much to bear, most of us can cool down with the air conditioner or a cold drink.

But lonely "backyard dogs" don't have any such respite from rising temperatures. PETA fieldworkers often see them suffering outside (sometimes with heavy metal chains around their necks), enduring every scorching second of unrelenting sunshine with nothing but a rickety piece of wood or cheap plastic to offer them shade. The consequences can be deadly.

It's too hot out here. Please help me.

This week, PETA's team will help hundreds of animals in need, but one of our most-immediate priorities is to deliver doghouses to 10 dogs who need our help. We must secure $2,650 before it's too late.

Every dog deserves affection and the comfort of an indoor home—but when we're unable to persuade owners to allow animals inside, a sturdy PETA doghouse can be dogs' only chance at shade and protection from the heat.

Every penny you give today will push us closer to our $2,650 goal. Please don't wait: 10 dogs need us. Sponsor a doghouse now.

Thank you for your compassion and for all that you do to help dogs and other animals.

Sincerely,

Emily Allen
