Summer recess is over for the California Legislature, and the Senate and Assembly are back in session!

They have two weeks to get bills through their respective Appropriations Committees, then until September 14 to pass bills out of the legislature completely.

Friend, we have exactly one month to pass our transformational and essential legislative agenda. Will you help us finish the job by supporting our proven advocacy efforts?

When California leads, other states and nations follow. It's up to us to ensure California continues to do so.

We’ve got over a dozen priority bills we’re trying to turn into law — legislation that will hold corporate polluters accountable, protect our democratic process, improve air quality, and more. Legislation that will have a tangible impact on fighting the climate crisis.

Over the course of the next month, we’ll be using every tool at our disposal to try to persuade legislators to vote for these bills, from leading behind-the-scenes phone calls and influence campaigns to driving public pressure and calls from constituents to working with our coalitions to show support.

I'm excited going into these final stages of the legislative session, because I know EnviroVoters has a proven track record of getting things done. Just look at all we helped get California to accomplish in 2022!

But what we need from you is help funding these efforts. Big Oil spent over $13 MILLION lobbying against climate policy through June — they’re likely to blow past last year’s numbers by the time the legislative session ends.

With a powerful movement behind us fighting for the right cause, we don't need $13 million to get our bills passed. But we still can't get our legislative agenda passed without support from members like you, friend.

Please make a donation today to give us the resources we need to run the multi-faceted advocacy strategies we know work.

Thank you for your continued commitment to the fight. Now, let’s finish the job!
