Every month, I work with Chris and the rest of our team to come up with our monthly fundraising goals. These numbers aren’t random, John — in fact it’s just the opposite! We work hard to determine the exact amount we need to keep the campaign running strong because we never want to ask you for a penny more than necessary.
That’s why I’m reaching out today: Tomorrow marks the halfway point of the month, but we’re not halfway toward our August goal.
We need to raise $3,000 by tomorrow night to get our online fundraising back on track. Will you chip in any amount today to help us close the gap and keep us on the path to victory?

Falling short in 2023 — even for just one month! — will put us in a weaker position in 2024, and it could mean we have to cut critical investments like our rapid response or voter outreach programs.
