In 2016, Donald Trump won the presidency despite getting just 45.9% of the vote — because third-party candidates Gary Johnson and Jill Stein siphoned off enough votes to let him win without coming close to a majority.

Now Republicans are pouring money into a dark money group called No Labels to make it happen again.

No Labels bills itself as a centrist organization. But in reality, its top funders include many right-wing Republicans — including Harlan Crow, the notorious billionaire who has lavished Clarence Thomas and his family with gifts and vacations likely worth millions.

We all know what a disaster it would be for Donald Trump to win the White House again, and we cannot let a Republican-backed third-party spoiler tip the election. We have a plan to make sure that doesn’t happen (more on that below), but we need your help.

Let’s be clear: Donald Trump has never had the support of a majority of the American people. He got just 45.9% of the popular vote in 2016. In 2020, he got 46.8%. His approval rating as president never came close to 50%.

In order to win in 2024, Trump needs a major third-party candidate siphoning off votes — and that’s why Republicans are pouring money into No Labels.

Here’s our plan to stop them:

First, we need to let undecided voters know about President Biden’s successes, especially on the economy. Currently just 40% of voters approve of President Biden’s performance on the economy — even though more jobs have been created during his presidency than during any other single presidential term, and unemployment is at a historic low.

As inflation subsides, we have an opportunity to educate voters through social media with our proven-effective video explainers. The more we can increase President Biden’s support, the less of a threat No Labels will be.

Second, we must also let people know who No Labels really is — before this dark money group spends tens of millions of dollars pitching themselves to potential Biden voters. The American people don’t like to be lied to, and if they understand that No Labels is little more than a front group for Republicans trying to tip the election to Trump, then No Labels will face a serious backlash.

American democracy might not survive another four years of Donald Trump in the White House. Together we can reveal the truth behind No Labels and stop Trump. But it will require a major public education effort, and to pull it off, we’re counting on donations from supporters like you.
